With the introduction of the new printer, we can now set up a function that allows confidential

printing or Locked Printing. This allows the printer to hold your print in the job queue until you

enter your personal pin code to release the print.


The below instructions explain how to setup Locked Printing.


1) From the program that you are in click on File and then Print.


2) Select Print Properties


3) From within the Print Properties window select Locked Print from the Job Type drop-down

list.



4) Now click on Details


5) Enter a User ID and 4-8 digit password and click OK




6) Select Apply and then OK and print as normal.


7) The print will then remain in the print queue until you enter your code to release it.


8) Go to the printer and from the Home screen select Printer.


9) Select the Job Queue tab and select your username .






10) You will then see a list of your outstanding jobs, select the job that you wish to print from

the list.


11) Enter your passcode using the keypad on the printer and press OK




12) Your job will then be printed.
